Magnet + Blackboard Effect
It is a combination of two decorative effects, it is about of a process with metallic particle which we protect with a chalk effect paint.
The application of the process following the guidelines of the notes that we describe in the process, is important for the achievement of the result.
MAGNET + BLACKBOARD EFFECT PROCESS
Step 1: Preparation of the support
Application of a solvent-base primer.
Step 2: Application of the magnet + blackboard effect
Application of two layers of 250 g/m2 of black corten steel primer magnet
HM-6005/85, drying time between coats of 8 hours with sanding 280 – 320 grit.

Step 3: Sanding
Let dry for 16 hours and softly sand the surface with fine grit.
Step 4: Application of chalk effect primer
Application of two layers of 150 g/m2 of chalk effect PO-4103 + 50 % RP-257, drying time between coats of 8 hours with sanding 280 – 320 grit.
After 24 hours, it could be used soft chalks or liquid chalk markers. Do not use hard chalks, as they could damage the surface. Clean with a wet cloth.
