Iridescence Effect
The decorative effect known as iridescent is obtained as an effect of several shades, as the result of the combination of the primer and metallic particles.
The application of the process following the guidelines of the notes that we describe in the process, is important for the achievement of the result.
CERAMIC EFFECT PROCESS
Step 1: Preparation of the support
Application of a base-coat or primer.
Step 2: Sanding
Let dry and sand with 280 – 320 grit.
Step 3: Black primer or other shade
Apply a IP-35/04 black primer coat, another shade can also be applied.
Apply PM-1700/XX range according to chosen color. It can be catalyzed at 5 % with RP-045 for a better adherence.
Step 4: Iridescent
Step 5: Topcoat
Apply a layer of acrylic topcoat, depending on the degree of required gloss.
