The application of the process following the guidelines of the notes that we describe in the process, is important for the achievement of the result.
GOLD ICE EFFECT PROCESS
Step 1: Preparation of the support
Over MDF-boards.
Application of a layer of 250 – 300 g/m2 of PU Primer or Transparent Polyester or coloured.
Let dry.
Application of a layer of 250 – 300 g/m2 of PU Primer or Transparent Polyester or coloured.
Let dry.
Step 2: Sanding and ice effect
Sand within 24 hours. Clean the surface with a cloth moistened with water.
Apply a layer of AH-1004 Ice Effect between 60 – 100 g/m2.
The higher the grammage, the greater the relief of the effect.
Let dry for 24 hours at normal ambient conditions.

Step 3: Application of the decoration
Apply a decorative product, such as chrome cover PM-1340 or the range of metallized topcoats PM-1700/YY.
It can also be applied a coloured lacquer, it is recommended an acrylic topcoat.
Let dry for 12 hours.

Step 4: Topcoat
Apply a layer of PM-100 Chrome Protector (+5% RP-045) of 120-150.
It can also be applied other transparent acrylic topcoats (consult the Technical Department).
